About
Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1996, Camera Obscura are celebrated as fine purveyors of literate pop having released five albums to widespread, international acclaim. After an extended hiatus, Camera Obscura returned to live touring with an invitation from Belle & Sebastian to perform at their 2019 Boaty Weekender, preceded by two sold-out shows at Glasgow’s Saint Luke’s – their first shows in almost half a decade. This year, the band have released a much-anticipated new record ‘Look to the East, look to the West’ performing new music live across the UK with a sell-out tour at the start of 2024. As the year continues, the band are travelling to the U.S and Europe with a string of live dates.
