Forest Claudette
About
Forest Claudette turns growing pains into poetry, using alt-R&B as a vessel for truth, healing, and self-discovery. Their latest EP, Jupiter & Stone Between, is a two-part cosmic deep-dive into identity—navigating gender, queerness, and the rocky joy of coming out. Born in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria, Australia, Forest began shaping their voice early, submitting a high school demo to Triple J that sparked an interview, airplay, and eventually, a record deal. Their debut single, “Creaming Soda,” emerged from imposter syndrome and cracked open a journey of reflection. That vulnerability bloomed in The Year of February and 2023’s Everything Was Green, the latter earning two ARIA awards. Forest’s collab with Earthgang, “Mess Around,” became an “ethical fuckboy’s anthem” and a soul-pop triumph. In 2024, Jupiter & Stone Between and single “Kobe Beef” led to two headline UK/EU tours, a Great Escape Festival set, and a second APRA nomination for the Australian-born artist—proof the stars are listening
