IDER are London-based alt-pop duo Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville, known for their emotionally raw songwriting and genre-blurring sound. Hailed as “pop auteurs” and “voices of a generation,” they first rose to prominence with their critically acclaimed debut album Emotional Education, which tackled themes of anxiety, identity, and the human condition with bold honesty. In 2021, they returned with Shame—a deeply personal, self-produced and self-released record that marked a new chapter in creative independence. Now signed to Nettwerk, IDER are poised for their biggest era yet. 2025 has seen the release of Late To The World – their most confident and sonically expansive work to date – supported by a sold-out UK and European tour, reconnecting the band with their devoted fanbase and introducing their fearless, emotionally charged alt-pop to new audiences.
