Thirty years after releasing their first single, Jamiroquai’s irresistible blend of funk, soul and house still reverberates on dance floors across the globe. Led by charismatic frontman Jay Kay, the band have achieved stellar success over decades with 27 million in album sales, seven top 10 albums in the UK, and a slew of Grammy Awards, Ivor Novello gongs, and VMA nods.
The band’s most recent album, Automaton, reached the top 10 in 12 countries and led to two sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in 2017 as part of their world arena tour, plus headline performances at festivals including Montreux Jazz, Boardmasters, North Sea Jazz, Cruilla, Pinkpop, and Seoul Jazz.
2022 saw Jamiroquai make a much-anticipated live return, delivering sensational performances at the Andalucía Big Festival in Málaga, on the 30th anniversary of the band’s inception. In 2023, the band headlined Lytham Festival, Rio Babel Festival Madrid, and will play a special show at Théâtre Antique d’Orange, France.
