Following the release of three critically acclaimed albums for heralded UK label 4AD, British producer
& composer SOHN has built a solid fanbase with his unique brand of emotionally rich songwriting and
distinctive production. This success of these records led to him working with artists such as BANKS,
Kwabs, Rhye and Lana Del Rey, where his transcendent and intricate productions married analog
warmth with modern minimalism, creating a powerful sentimental honesty that runs through even his
most electronically driven compositions. Hailing originally from London, his musical journey has seen
him call Vienna and Los Angeles home, before settling in the forested region of Garraf, Spain. Having
spent time finding solace in his home studio, SOHN now announces the launch of his newly-minted
label imprint adaptpivotmove, a home for exploratory, process-driven music that exists outside the
boundaries of traditional song form, providing a perfect home for his stirring and elegant new album
‘Albadas (Dawn Songs)’.
